I’m not sure this was the best layout for this comic, but it’s what I have. I took this strip as an excuse to do some perspective work, but it occurs to me that I should have done the same behind Eve in panel 3. Oh, well. That’s how you learn, I guess.
I like this exchange. He’s, of course, suspicious, and he’s looking outside as if he wants to be elsewhere, but he just can’t walk away. Eve’s got a hold on him for some reason, and I’m not totally sure why. She clearly treats him quite poorly.
